WHAT IS CHIP TUNING?

Chip Tuning is the modification of the embedded software in the engine control unit (ECU) of new generation vehicles. This process, which is also referred to as Remap / Remapping, actually means recalibration of the engine (Engine Re-Calibration).

The software installed in the control unit is read with special equipment (ALIENTECH NewGenius, NewTrasdata, etc.) developed for this purpose and rearranged with editing software specially designed for this process (ALIENTECH RaceEVO etc.).

With this arrangement, power increase, fuel saving, EGR cancellation, DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) cancellation, Adbule (SCR) cancellation, Speed limit removal etc. All functions managed by the engine control unit can be interfered with.
